Eric Orton and the B2R team didn’t design a shoe to fit into a category.  We didn’t design a shoe to follow a fad.   Many of the choices offered today are distractions from what we are born to do: Run.  A running coach like Eric knows that, so the B2R team designed the most appropriate shoe for runners, period.

Because we reject the idea that a shoe should be designed to change your foot’s function, B2R’s shoes allow the foot to work and perform naturally. To put the feet to work, we separated the big toe, allowing it to articulate, providing balance and power.  It also creates a gloved fit that holds a narrow or wide foot in place, securing it without confining it. (Size Chart)

B2R Trail Performance Shoe – This is the B2R’s Performance Road Shoe’s trail cousin. It is a lightweight trail shoe, designed for smoother trails and dirt paths. A great choice if your runs combine pavement and dirt. B2R split toe design for natural articulation of the big toe.

 
We know that our shoes will allow the feet to do the work they were meant to do and allow runners to do what they were born to do. However, no “special sauce”has only one ingredient. To complement the split toe, we carefully addressed the “last,” or how the shoe fits. Fit is what most affects performance, so we worked intimately in the design and development phase to perfect the B2R last.
